Kuhlman, Holthaus Join Lacrosse Staff

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team has added two new staff members as Sara Kuhlman and Andrea Holthaus will join the program as assistant coaches for the 2015 campaign.

Kuhlman has served as the co-head coach for the Velocity Lacrosse Club since 2012. The team is a competitive travel unit formed with high schools girls from southern Ohio.

The Cincinnati, Ohio native played lacrosse at High Point University in High Point, N.C. where she was a three-time first team all-league pick. She ended her career as the all-time leader in draw controls and was a three-time scholar athlete while earning her bachelor's degree in health and physical education.

Kuhlman was also a standout during her prep years at Mt. Notre Dame High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She ended her career as the programs all-time scoring leader and earned all-Ohio honors in the process.

Holthaus was a four-year letter winner for the Oilers volleyball team and is ranked 11th all-time at UF with 285 total blocks.  She appeared in 310 sets during her tenure with the program and also racked up 243 kills.
