Oilers Fall to Stonehill

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team dropped a 20-7 decision to Stonehill on March 4 in Easton, Mass. The loss gives the Oilers a 0-3 record on the season.

Stonehill jumped out to a 14-3 lead at the half, but only out-scored the Oilers by a 6-4 margin in the second period. They also held a 37-15 advantage in the shot department against the Oilers.

Sophomore Kyra Bradley led Findlay with four goals while freshman Olivia Sherman was responsible for two scores and two assists.

Freshman Rachel Heath took the loss between the pipes by allowing 19 goals. She made nine saves.

The Oilers will now prepare to face Mercyhurst on March 8 in Erie, Pa.
