The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 16-6 against tenth-ranked LIU-Post on March 29 in Brookville, N.Y. The loss snaps the Oilers two-game winning streak and drops their record to 2-5 on the season.
The Oilers had 24 turnovers in the game and picked up only 16 ground balls compared to 24 for Post. Post also held a 33-20 advantage in the shot department and won 13 draws.
Junior Sarah Lankton had three goals and three draws while sophomore Erin Stacho had two goals in the game.
The Oilers will return home for a four-game set at Donnell Stadium beginning on April 2 when they host Ursuline at 7 p.m.
