Lankton, Bradley Combine for 15 Goals in Win

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team picked up a 22-7 win over McKendree University on April 19 in Lebanon, Ill. The win gives the Oilers a 6-7 record on the season with a 4-2 mark in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play.

The Oilers went up 16-4 at the half and never looked back as they dominated throughout. Findlay held a 38-12 advantage in shots and had a 23-7 lead in draw controls.

Junior Sarah Lankton and sophomore Kyra Bradley combined for 15 of the Oilers goals to lead the way. Lankton had eight goals and eight draws while Bradley contributed seven goals, scoring on all four of free position attempts.

Freshman Olivia Sherman added three goals while junior Mackenzie Barnwell found the back of the net twice.

Freshman Rachel Heath picked up the win after allowing four goals in the first half. Freshman Brooke Eicher then finished the second half, making two saves between the pipes.

The Oilers will be at Lindenwood tomorrow.
