Dragons End Oilers Season in GLIAC Semis

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team saw their season come to a close on May 1 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament semifinals as they lost to Tiffin University by a score of 26-13 in Allendale, Mich.

The Oilers, who end their season with an 8-10 record, received six goals and five ground balls from junior Sarah Lankton while freshman Olivia Sherman posted five goals in the loss.

Freshman Rachel Heath took the loss between the pipes after allowing nine goals in just under 20 minutes of action. Freshman Brooke Eicher then finished the game, allowing 17 goals.

Tiffin held a huge advantage in draws by a 29-12 margin and out-shot Findlay 41-25.
