The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team suffered their third straight defeat as they fell 10-8 at the University of Indianapolis on April 8.

The Oilers fell behind by a score of 4-2 in the opening half, a lead the Greyhounds would never relinquish. Both teams played to a 6-6 draw in the second half as the Oilers fell to 6-5 on the season with a 3-3 record in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play.

Senior Sarah Lankton and freshman Graceann Conte each scored two goals apiece to lead the team. Lankton also added five ground balls, five draw controls and four caused turnovers in the game.

Sophomore Brooke Eicher took the loss, but recorded a school record 15 saves in the game.

The Oilers will return to action again on April 10 when they continue their road swing at McKendree. The game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
