Lankton Selected for All-Star Game

Sarah Lankton, a recent graduate of the University of Findlay, was named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Star on May 27. Lankton will compete in the NCAA Division II North/South All-Star Game on June 4 at 12:45 p.m. in Radnor, Pa. Lankton, who was a second team All-American during the 2016 campaign, will compete on the North team at the event.

Lankton, who earned third team All-American honors for the Oilers last year as well, was a first team all-region pick during her senior season. She was also named first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and was voted the GLIAC Midfielder of the Year for the third consecutive season.

A four-time, first team all-league pick, Lankton capped her career with 55 goals, 16 assists, 66 ground balls, 101 draw controls and 26 caused turnovers during the 2016 campaign. She also led Findlay to their first appearance in the GLIAC Championship.

The Carmel, Ind. native ended her career with totals of 262 goals, 79 assists, 299 ground balls, 427 draw controls and 120 caused turnovers, all Findlay records.
