#6 West Chester Defeats Findlay 16-7

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 16-7 to sixth-ranked West Chester on March 8 in West Chester, Pa. The loss gives the Oilers a 1-2 record on the season.

West Chester held a 29-21 lead in the shot department and forced 19 Findlay turnovers in the game.

Junior Rachel Heath took the loss after allowing 12 goals in 30 minutes of action.

Offensively, senior Kyra Bradley paced the team with three goals. She also added two draw controls.

Sophomore Lexi Miller had two goals while junior Olivia Sherman and sophomore Hannah Peebles each had one.

The Oilers will be back in action on March 10 when they hit the road to take on Shippensburg.
