Oilers Fall in GLIAC Tourney | Peebles Ties Record

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team saw their season come to a close on May 2 in Indianapolis, Ind. during the first round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament. The Oilers dropped a 13-7 decision to the Greyhounds and finish the year with a 7-11 record.

The Greyhounds out-shot the Oilers by a 32-12 margin and held a 14-8 advantage in draw controls. They also caused 12 Findlay turnovers in the game.

Senior Allison Kelly led the Oilers with three goals and she also caused three turnovers in the game.

Freshman Ciara Burud added two goals and an assist while sophomore Hannah Peebles had one goal and two assists. Her two assists gave her 24 for the season, tying the school record that was set by former UF All-American Sarah Lankton during the 2013 campaign.

Sophomore Brie Caruso added a goal while senior Kyra Bradley picked up three ground balls.

Bradley, who was held scoreless in the game, finishes her career ranked second all-time at Findlay with 237 goals.
