Bradley, Fury Named 2nd Team All-GLIAC

Senior Kyra Bradley and junior Natalie Fury were each named second team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) as the league office unveiled their annual women's lacrosse awards on May 4.

Bradley posted a team-high 48 goals for the Oilers in 2017 and led the squad with 64 points. She also recorded 16 assists and had 24 ground balls.

Bradley has had a great career for the Oilers and has been an all-conference pick four times. She was named first team all-league in 2014 and again in 2015. She was voted second team all-conference last season. In addition, Bradley earned second team all-region honors and was tabbed the GLIAC Attacker of the Year in 2015.

The Port Coquitlam, British Columbia native ranks second all-time at Findlay with 237 career goals. She also ranks second all-time in assists (56) and points (293).

Fury led the Oilers defensive unit and produced 40 caused turnovers in 2017, the second-highest total in school history. She also recorded 46 ground balls and 34 draw controls.

The Glenolden, Pa. native was named second team all-conference last year as well and was named honorable mention all-GLIAC in 2015.

In addition, sophomore Brie Caruso, freshman Ciara Burud and sophomore Hannah Peebles were tabbed honorable mention all-conference for their performances during the 2017 campaign.

Caruso recorded 26 goals and 29 draw controls, Burud had 33 goals and 27 caused turnovers, and Peebles had 24 goals and a team-high 24 assists. Her assist total tied a school record for most assists in a season.
