Women's Lacrosse Finishes Strong on Spring Break

Montevallo, AL – The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team wrapped up their spring break road trip with win over the University of Montevallo Falcons on Wednesday, Mar. 6 with a final score of 24-6. The Oilers are now 2-4 on the season.

The Oilers had 11 different goal scorers in their win against the Falcons. Senior Hannah Peebles led the way with eight total points scoring four goals and dishing out four assists. Freshman Kendra Lindell also had four goals on the day and grabbed three draw controls.

Junior Ciara Burud had three goals, two assists, and five draw controls. Freshman Madi DeVries also added three goals for the Oilers.

Senior Jacelyn Litman had two goals and an assist while sophomore Allie Kasprzyk also added two goals and two assists. Freshman Mackenzie Cole had two goals and two caused turnovers in the win.

Senior Brie Caruso, sophomore Hanna Morgan, and freshmen Danielle Dilorenzo and Ashleigh Lesser each added a goal apiece.

On the defensive end, senior Lexi Miller grabbed four draw controls and had two caused turnovers. Sophomore Brittany Stephens scooped up four ground balls and had one caused turnover.

Senior Claire Ferrell started in net for the Oilers and made four saves. Freshman Rachel Bornstein had one save and one groundball.

Findlay will be playing back at home on Sunday, Mar. 10 against McKendree. The contest is set to begin at 12:00PM.
