Oilers Finish Regular Season with 18-3 Win

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team finished their regular season with an 18-3 win over Ursuline College on April 28 in Pepper Pike, Ohio. The win gives the Oilers an 8-9 record on the season with a 6-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

Junior Ciara Burud led the Oilers to the win with three goals, three assists, three ground balls, two draw controls, and two caused turnovers.

Freshman Danielle Dilorenzo added four goals, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers while senior Brie Caruso had three goals, seven draw controls, three ground balls, and one assist.

Senior Hannah Peebles scored one goal and had four assists while senior Claire Ferrell picked up the win and made four saves.

The Oilers outshot the Arrows 31-12 and held a 16-6 advantage in draw controls. They were also a perfect 15-for-15 on clear attempts.

The Oilers will now play Walsh University in the semifinals of the 2019 G-MAC Tournament in Tiffin, Ohio on May 2.
