The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 21-5 at 3rd-ranked Lindenwood University on March 6 in St. Charles, Mo. The loss gives the Oilers a 2-3 record on the season.
The Lions outshot the Oilers 32-8 and held an 18-7 lead in draw controls. They also caused 11 of Findlay's 19 turnovers in the game.
Senior Ciara Burud led the Oilers with three goals while sophomore Danielle Dilorenzo and freshman Izzy Murphy-Morrow had one goal apiece.
Senior Brittany Stephens had three ground balls while junior Jordan Reineke had three draw controls.
The Oilers will be back in action again on March 13 when they travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to face Davenport University at 7pm.
