Kelly Named Head Coach

Allison Kelly has had the interim tag removed from here title and has been named the University of Findlay women's lacrosse head coach by director of athletics, Brandi Laurita.

"I want to thank Brandi and all of the athletic department staff here at Findlay for believing in me and giving this opportunity to coach an amazing group of student-athletes," said Kelly. "I couldn't be more excited to continue to call Findlay home. Go Oilers!"

Kelly served as the Oilers interim head coach in 2020, leading the Oilers to a 2-3 record before the season was abruptly ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, Kelly served as a volunteer assistant coach with the program as well as a graduate assistant in the athletic department. She also played for the Oilers from 2014-18. During her time as a player, Kelly appeared in 60 games, starting 41 contests. She also scored 64 goals and had 25 assists during her tenure with the team.

"We are thrilled to remove the interim tag from Allison and continue into the future with her as our head coach," said Laurita. "She is an Oiler at heart and we are excited to see what she can accomplish as the leader of our women's lacrosse program."
