Lybarger Leads #8 Roughnecks At MSU

The University of Findlay wrestling team, ranked 8th in the Wrestling Coaches Association Poll, were led by junior Michael Lybarger at the 2010 Michigan State University Open on Saturday, November 13 in East Lansing, Michigan.

Lybarger took third place in the 165-pound weight class with a 5-1 record. He defeated Pittsburgh's P.J. Tasser in the third place match by decision, 3-2.

Mason True also wrestled well for the Roughnecks as he finished sixth in the 174-pound weight class with a 2-3 record, falling 4-2 by decision in the fifth place match to Indiana's Nick Avery.

Matt Clum did not place in the heavyweight division but sported a 3-2 record while Ashton Brown took fifth place in the freshman/sophomore bracket at 184 pounds with a 4-2 record.

The Roughnecks will be back in action again on November 20 at the Harris Open in Ashland, Ohio.
