3 Roughnecks Place For #8 Findlay

The University of Findlay wrestling team, ranked 8th in the Wrestling Coaches Association Poll, had three grapplers place at the Eastern Michigan Open on Saturday, November 6 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Jeremy Espinoza captured fifth place in the 149-pound weight class after defeating Central Michigan's Ryan Cubberly, Michael Lybarger was fifth at 165 after defeating Cumberland's Corey Bleaken and Dan Stevenson was fifth in the 197-pound weight class after taking down Navy's Andrew Buck.

Espinoza finished the event with a 3-2 record while Lybarger and Stevenson each posted 4-2 records.

Nick Weisjahn posted a 3-2 mark at 125 while Chad Channel went 2-2 at 141.

The Roughnecks will be back in action again on November 13 when they compete in the Michigan State Open in East Lansing, Michigan.
