Roughnecks Ranked 14th in NWCA Poll
The University of Findlay wrestling team is ranked 14th in the nation as the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) released their annual preseason poll on Wednesday, October 26.
Individually, senior Michael Lybarger is the top ranked grappler in the 174-pound weight class while sophomore Ben Sergent is fifth in the 125-pound bracket.
Lybarger won a national title last season in the 165-pound weight class, finishing the season with a school record breaking 39-4 record.
Sergent ended the season with a 22-18 mark as he qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championship.
The Roughnecks will hit the mat on November 5 at the Eastern Michigan Open in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
