Roughnecks Ranked 8th in Latest Poll

The University of Findlay wrestling team is ranked eighth in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NCAA Division II poll, which was released on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

The Roughnecks also have several individuals who are nationally ranked in their respective weight classes.  Junior Adam Walters leads the group as he is the top-ranked grappler in the 184-pound weight class.

Senior Mason True ranks second in the 165-pound weight class while junior Ben Sergent checks in third at 125.

All three wrestlers earned All-American honors last year for the Roughnecks.

The Roughnecks will travel to Newberry, S.C. on Dec. 8 to take part in the Newberry Duals.  While there, they will wrestle #20 UNC-Pembroke, #5 Newberry, Limestone and Lindenwood.
