#7 Roughnecks Blank West Liberty State, Win 45-0

The University of Findlay wrestling team, ranked seventh nationally, shut out West Liberty State University by a score of 45-0 on Friday, Feb. 8 in Croy Gymnasium.

The Roughnecks won three matches by forfeit and were led by Jan Ulinski, who earned a pin over Dan Carpenter in only 37 seconds at 149.

Before Ulinski's pin, Ben Sergent claimed a 7-0 win at 125, Nick Goebel won by technical fall 17-1 at 133 and Joey White earned a major decision by a score of 15-5 in the 141-pound weight class.

Jordan Cowell added a 4-3 win at 157, Mason True won by a score of 11-4 at 174 and Ashton Brown claimed a 7-5 victory in the 197-pound weight class.

The Roughnecks will now hit the road to take on Lake Erie College and Mercyhurst College tomorrow in Painesville, Ohio.
