Walters Advances to Semis at Midwest Classic

The University of Findlay wrestling team completed the first day of the 2013 Midwest Classic on Saturday, Dec. 14 in Indianapolis, Ind. 

Adam Walters was the lone Roughneck to advance to Sunday's competition as he went 2-0 in the 174-pound weight class.

Walters will face Upper Iowa's Colbey Vance in the semifinals tomorrow.

At 165, Bradley Metz finished the event with a 2-2 record while Jordan Cowell earned a 1-2 record in the 157-pound weight bracket.

Nicholas Skonieczny, Dalton Nicely and Gerald Beck all posted 0-2 records for Findlay on the day.
