Roughnecks Ranked 12th Nationally

The University of Findlay wrestling team is tied for 12th in the latest D2wrestle.com national rankings, which were released on Jan. 1. The Roughnecks share the 12th spot in the national rankings with Tiffin University.

Individually, junior Nick Goebel continues to be the top-ranked wrestler in the 149-pound weight class while fellow junior Joey White is ranked eighth at 157.

Regionally, Goebel is ranked #1 and White is ranked second.

In addition, sophomore Ryan Skonieczny is ranked fourth at 141, junior Nic Skonieczny is ranked fourth at 165, junior Bradley Metz is ranked fifth at 174, sophomore Dalton Ishmal is ranked sixth at 197 and junior Luke Fleming is ranked sixth at 285.
