Roughnecks Ranked 8th Nationally
The University of Findlay wrestling team jumped to eighth in the latest NWCA NCAA Division II National Rankings, which were released on Jan. 4.
Individually, Nick Goebel is the top-ranked wrestler in the 149-pound weight class while Bradley Metz is ranked seventh at 174.
Alonzo Turner, Joey White and Josh Wimer are also ranked nationally in their respective weight classes. Turner is ranked tenth at 165, White is ranked tenth at 157 and Wimer is ranked 11th at 141.
The Roughnecks will be back in action again on Jan. 5-6 at the NWCA National Duals in Ft. Wayne, Ind. Live results for the National Duals can be found on trackwrestling.com.
