Roughnecks Finish 13th in Team GPA

The University of Findlay wrestling program finished the 2016-17 campaign ranked 13th in the nation in overall grade point average. The Roughnecks finished the year with a team GPA of 3.206.

Individually, junior Bradley Metz and sophomore Alonzo Turner each earned first team all-academic honors from the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association. Senior Joey White earned second team honors while sophomore Devin Rogers was selected as an honorable mention pick.

Metz is carrying a 3.72 GPA in biology and nursing while Turner sports a 3.57 GPA in business management. White has a 3.17 GPA in business management and Rogers has a 3.17 GPA in pharmacy.
