18th-ranked Roughnecks Score 2 Victories in S.C.
The University of Findlay wrestling program, ranked 18th in the nation, came away with a pair of wins at the Abbey Duals on Jan. 26 in Newberry, S.C. The Roughnecks beat Queens 39-9 to open the meet and then scored a 31-12 win over Coker.
Bradley Metz led the charge by recording a pair of pins at 184. James Wimer also picked up a pair of pins at 157 while his brother, Josh Wimer, had one at 149. Gerald Beck also picked a win by pin fall at 285.
The Rougnecks will continue the event tomorrow.
