Roughnecks Wrap Michigan State Open

The University of Findlay wrestling program kicked off their season on Nov. 3 in East Lansing, Mich. at the Michigan State Open.

In the open division, seniors Devin Rogers and Armani Robinson led the way. Rogers went 2-2 in the 149-pound weight class while Robinson finished with an even record of 2-2 at 184.

In the freshman and sophomore bracket, freshman Justin West led the charge and took fourth at 149 with a 2-0 record.

Chase Moore went 3-3 for a sixth place finish in the 157-pound weight class while sophomore Zach Collins finished with a 2-2 mark at 125.

The Roughnecks will be back in action again on Nov. 11 when they compete in the Kaufman Brand Open in St. Louis, Mo.
