Proudlock Named Freshman of the Year

The University of Findlay wrestling program had ten individuals earn all-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) honors including Branson Proudlock, who was named Freshman of the Year as well as first team all-league.

Proudlock went 4-0 in the 141-pound weight class at the 2020 G-MAC Championship while junior Zachary Collins posted a 5-0 record at 125 to earn first team all-conference accolades as well.

Freshman Chase Moore and junior Nathan Vandermeer each were tabbed second team all-conference for the Roughnecks as well. Moore finished the championship event with a 4-1 record at 157 while Vandermeer went 3-2 at 174.

In addition, freshman Hunter Reed, freshman Danny Rosales, sophomore Derek Sharp, freshman Caleb Carpenter, sophomore Keigan Yuhas, and sophomore Jeffrey Mullinax were all named honorable mention all-G-MAC.

Reed went 3-2 at 165, Rosales finished 2-3 at 184, Sharp went 3-2 at 133, Carpenter finished 3-2 at 285, Yuhas went 3-2 at 197, and Mullinax finished 2-3 at 149.
