The University of Findlay women's soccer team defeated Ohio Dominican University on Sunday, Sept. 25 in Findlay, Ohio by the score of 3-1.
Freshman Eryn Weber got the ball rolling for the Oilers in the 11th minute to give her team the early lead.
After an Ohio Dominican goal in the 34th miunute, junior Brittany Guglielmi put Findlay back on top in the 53rd minute of the second half from 25 yards out.
The Oilers third goal came in the 70th minute when an unfortunate own goal rolled into the Panthers net.
Senior Alicia Tutino tallied six saves in the match.
The win gives Findlay a 3-4-1 mark on the season with a 3-2-1 conference record.
The Oilers will play their next match on Wednesday Sept. 28 when they travel to Urbana. The Match is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start time.
