The University of Findlay women's soccer team was defeated 1-0 by Urbana University on Wednesday, Sept. 12th in Findlay, Ohio.
Urbana took the lead at the 43-minute mark of the first half on a 30-yard blast that was placed perfectly in the top left corner of the net.
Despite a valiant effort in the second half, the Oilers were unable to find the equalizer. Findlay recorded 11 shots in the game, nine coming in the second half, and had nine corner kicks.
With the loss, the Oilers drop to 0-3 on the season with their next match coming up on Sunday, Sept. 16th at Tiffin.
