The University of Findlay women's soccer team defeated Walsh University on Sunday, Oct. 21 in North Canton, Ohio.
Emily Beddoes scored her eighth goal in four games on a cross from Brittany Guglielmi in the seventh minute to get the ball rolling early for the Oilers. Then, in the 39th minute, Katie Burke found Megan Gallaway on a throw in to make the score 2-0.
The Oilers put the game away in the 74th minute when Burke recorded her second assist of the game when she found Ann Eichman on a cross.
Findlay dominated the game, outshooting Walsh 28-5.
Keeper Kelsea Corns saved all three shots that came her way and boosted her record to 7-6-1 on the season.
The Oilers are now 7-6-1 overall on the year with a 7-3-1 mark in GLIAC play. They will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 23 when they host Tiffin.
