Beddoes Named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Year

Senior Emily Beddoes was named the 2012 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Offensive Player of the Year on Friday, Nov. 2.

Beddoes, a first team all-conference pick, tied for the league lead with 14 goals during the season.  She also tallied four assists and led the conference in points with 32 on the year. 

The Toledo, Ohio native made a living around the net as she finished second in the conference with 41 shots on goal and registered four game-winning scores on the season.

In addition, senior Megan Gallaway was tabbed first team all-conference while senior Brittany Guglielmi earned honorable mention honors.

Gallaway scored eight goals and assisted on four more during her final year.  Her eight goals and 20 total points rank seventh in the GLIAC.

Guglielmi finished her senior season with one goal and five assists, the second best mark on the team.
