Oilers Tie Against Ohio Dominican in Columbus

The University of Findlay women's soccer team ended their match against Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foe Ohio Dominican University in a 1-1 tie on Sunday, September 29 in Columbus, Ohio. 

The Oilers jumped out to a 1-0 lead when junior Eryn Weber scored at the 10 minute mark.  Her goal was assisted by senior Katie Burke

The Panthers quickly tied it up when Kelly Johnson scored at the 13 minute mark off of an assist by Lauren Pratt. 

The Oilers held a 16-9 advantage in the shot department, as well as a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Findlay goalkeepers Samantha Trimboli and Kelsea Corns took the tie in the net and Trimboli had four saves in the process.

The Oilers, who are now 4-2-1 on the year, will face Cedarville University on the road on Tuesday, October 1 at 7 p.m.
