The University of Findlay women's soccer team lost to #4 nationally ranked and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) rival Grand Valley State University 6-0 on Sunday, September 28 at DeHaven Field.
The Lakers took a 3-0 lead in the first half and then scored 3 more goals in the second half.
The Lakers dominated offensively with a 22-7 advantage in the shot department.
Findlay goalkeeper Samantha Trimboli took the loss in the net and had five saves in the process.
The Oilers, who are now 4-3 on the year, will travel to Big Rapids, Michigan to face GLIAC foe Ferris State University on Friday, October 3.
