The University of Findlay women's soccer team lost to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) rival Michigan Tech 1-0 on Friday, October 17 in Houghton, Michigan.
The game remained scoreless after the first half, but then at the 81 minute mark, the Huskies got on the board when Lexl Herrewig scored unassisted to give the Huskies a 1-0 victory.
Findlay goalkeeper Samantha Trimboli picked up the loss in the net and had eight saves in the contest.
Michigan Tech had the edge offensively with a 14-9 advantage in the shot department.
The Oilers, who are now 6-5-1 on the season with a 3-2-1 mark in GLIAC play, will travel to Marquette, Michigan on Sunday, October 19 to face GLIAC foe Northern Michigan University.
