The University of Findlay women's soccer team lost to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foe Northern Michigan University 4-0 in Marquette, Michigan on Sunday, October 19.
Ashley Katers and Paula Hafner scored for Northern Michigan to give them a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Northern Michigan extended there to 4-0 in the second half when Katers and Hafner both scored their second goals of the contest.
Northern Michigan had the edge offensively with an 18-14 advantage in shots and a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Oiler goalkeeper Samantha Trimboli took the loss in the net and had five saves in the contest.
The Oilers, who are now 6-6-1 on the season with a 3-4-1 mark in GLIAC play, will host GLIAC rival Saginaw Valley State University at DeHaven Field on Friday, October 24.
