UF women's soccer faced the Malone University Pioneers Sunday, Sep. 20 at DeHaven Field. The Oilers lost 1-0 to bring their record to 1-4-0 in the season.
Offensively the Oilers out-shot the Pioneers 12-5, but were unable to capitalize on an opportunity. Leading the team with shots-on-goal was freshman Marissa Swindell. Senior Kendall Kwiatkowski broke through the Pioneer defense repeatedly, but was unable to finish on Malone's \freshman goalkeeper, Leah Rauscher. Sophomore Bre Parrish took the loss in goal for the UF defense.
The Oilers play next on Wednesday, Sep. 23 at 4pm in a conference game against the Tiffin University Dragons in Tiffin, Ohio.
