Anderson Scores Only Goal in 3-1 Loss Against Saginaw

The University of Findlay women's soccer team lost 3-1 against Saginaw Valley State University Sunday, Oct. 18 in University Center, Mich. This loss brings their record to 1-10-3 on the season with a 0-7-2 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Senior captain Katelyn Anderson scored the only goal for the Oilers in the 27th-minute of play.  Her goal was assisted by fellow senior captain Kendall Kwiatkowski.  Anderson continues to hold her spot as leading scorer on the team this season with 6 goals scored for the Oilers. The team overall has 13 goals and 10 assists at this point in the season.

Sophomore goal keeper Bre Parrish made 3 saves for the Findlay defense during the match. Parrish has made 53 saves in 12 games this season for the Oilers.

The women play next on Friday, Oct. 23 at DeHaven Field against the Ashland University Eagles in a 12pm game.
