Findlay, OH – The University of Findlay women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Walsh University Cavaliers in a G-MAC contest on October 5 at DeHaven Field. The loss moves Findlay to a 3-9 (2-6) record while Walsh improves to a perfect 10-0 (7-0).

The Oilers offense struggled early, as they were only able to let off two shots in the first half. Walsh fired off 12 shots, with eight being on goal during the same period. The Cavaliers took the 1-0 lead during the 9th minute of the match.

Findlay had a more active offense in the second half, managing to record seven shot attempts with three shots on goal. Still, the Oilers could not find the back of the net and would give up a second goal in the 56th minute to bring the score to the 2-0 decision.

Junior Anna Money had her hands full in front of the net for the Oilers, recording a season high 13 saves during the contest. Freshman Samantha Church led Findlay with three shot attempts and two shots on goal.

Findlay will be back on DeHaven Field at 12:00 PM this Saturday, October 7 when they host the Malone University Pioneers for another G-MAC contest.
