Oilers Drop to ODU to Close Season

Findlay, OH - The University of Findlay women's soccer team wrapped up their season on Tuesday, October 24 in a 7-0 loss to Ohio Dominican University. The defeat brings their season overall record to 5-12-1 with a 4-9-1 record in their first year of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Panthers improve their record to 13-4-1 (11-2-1).

The game was dominated by Panther offense, with ODU scoring in within the first two minutes of the math and tacking on second and third goals in the 10th minute of play.

Ohio Dominican would score another two goals in rapid succession in the 41st minute, bringing the score to 5-0 going into halftime.

The Panthers were not done yet, as they added another two goals in the second half to bring it to the 7-0 decision.

The Oilers attempted 15 shots to Ohio Dominican's 23, with five shots on goal to the Panther's 15. 

Leading Findlay in shots on goal was junior Megan Kupetz, who attempted four of Findlay's five total. Freshman Sierra Perry added the fifth shot on goal in the second half.
