Dye Resigns as Women's Soccer Head Coach

Findlay, Ohio – After seven years at the helm of the University of Findlay women's soccer program, head coach Crystal Dye has turned in her letter of resignation, effective Friday, November 3. Her resignation comes in an effort to pursue other career opportunities.

"I want to thank Coach Dye for the time and effort she has poured into the women's soccer program. We wish her the best of luck with her future endeavors", said Findlay Director of Athletics, Brandi Laurita.

Coach Dye, a 1999 graduate of Olivet College and 2003 graduate with a Master's in Education from the University of Findlay, spent seven seasons as the women's head soccer coach at Findlay and was just the second coach in the program's history. Since 2012, Dye's first year, the Oilers have put together a record of 34-60-11, most recently completing the 2017 with a record of 5-12-1. Dye has coached one Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Offensive Player of the Year, two first team D2CCA All-Midwest Region players, three first team all-GLIAC players, and five honorable mention all-GLIAC players.

The search for Dye's successor will begin immediately.
