Nashville, TN – The University of Findlay women's soccer team earned a draw on the road against Trevecca Nazarene University on Sep. 15 in Nashville, TN. Both team scored goals in the first half of action and went scoreless for the remainder of the match, ending the game at 1-1. With the tie, Findlay's record is now 4-0-2 overall and 3-0-2 in conference play while the Trojans move to 4-1-1 and 3-1-1 in league action.

Trevecca took the lead ten minutes into the game with the first score of the game, but Findlay answered six minutes later when sophomore Shannon Marsh netted her fifth goal of the year to tie the game at 1-1.

Both teams made a push to score a deciding goal in the final minutes. Findlay fired a pair of shots in the last ten minutes of play and Trevecca Nazarene tallied four shots in the same amount of time, all of which ended with saves by junior goalie Anna Money, who ended the day with seven saves in 110 minutes of play.

The Oilers had 15 shots to 13 shots by the Trojans. Marsh had a game-high eight shots, four of which were on goal, while senior Megan Kupetz had four shots, two on goal.

Findlay returns home to take on Ohio Dominican on Thursday, Sep. 20 at DeHaven Field. ODU is currently atop the conference standings while the Oilers are in second.
