Oilers Defeated by Warriors

John Bogart and Ailsa Hershaw were event winners, while the UF women's 200-yard freestyle team also triumphed, but it was not enough for the Oilers to avoid a sweep by Wayne State in Detroit on Friday.

Bogart (1:06.20) and Hershaw (1:09.49) each won the 100-yard breaststroke, while the 200-yard relay team of Tanya Tikhonova, Emily Thomas, Nikki Schnell-McCoy and Jill Herbst won with a time of 1:39.54.

Second-place finishers for UF were Tim Andersson-Lind in the 500-yard freestyle (5:09.30), David Conti in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.55) and Hershaw in the 200-yard IM (2:12.52).
