Bell, Soutoul Break Records at National Championship

The University of Findlay men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed at the 2012 NCAA Division II National Championship on Friday, March 16 in Mansfield, Texas.

On the women's side, Molly Cade reached the consolation finals in the 200-yard butterfly and took 13th with a time of 2:04.85.

Diver Maddie Bell also broke her own school record in the 1-meter dive with 405.30 points, which was good for 17th place.

On the men's side, David Soutoul was 25th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 57.88, also good for a new school record.

The event will conclude tomorrow.
