Ward Takes 14th On Final Day of Nationals
Jessica Ward took fourteenth place in the 200-yard backstroke on the final day of the NCAA Division II National Championship, which took place on Saturday, March 15 in Geneva, Ohio.
Ward crossed the line at 2:02.66 in the finals and will earn All-American honors in the process.
Kaley Holmstrom finished in 22nd place in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:20.91.
"Our great season concluded with another great swim from Jess," head coach Andrew Makepeace explained. "This meet was so competitive, that anything in the top 20 was quite the achievement. I am proud of what we accomplished at this meet and during the season, we have a really bright future which is extremely exciting."
