Dragons Top Oilers 6-3 on Saturday

The University of Findlay women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Tiffin University on Saturday, September 29 in Tiffin, Ohio.  The loss gives the Oilers a 1-6 record on the season with a 0-6 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Kelsey Yoder claimed a singles win in 6-3, 6-0 fashion over Anna Scherting while Abigail Herrera was also victorious in singles, winning 6-1, 6-3 over Cassie Dye.

The Oilers doubles team of Isabel Nunez and Lindsay Jurcenko added a victory as well, winning 8-2 over Tiffin's Abigail Schuster and Renee Mattson.

The Oilers will return to the court tomorrow to face Ohio Dominican University.  The match is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. in Columbus, Ohio.
