Oilers Capture 1st Win on Sunday

The University of Findlay women's tennis team earned their first victory of the season with a 5-4 win over Lake Superior State University on Oct. 11 at the Armstrong Sports Complex.

The Oilers won three singles matches and two doubles competitions for the victory.

The win gives the Oilers a 1-9 record on the season with a 1-9 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers will be back in action again on Oct. 14 when they host Northwestern Ohio in a non-conference match.
