Matic Earns Comeback Win | Oilers Fall 8-1

Findlay, OH - The University of Findlay women's tennis team fell to the Wayne State University Warriors on Satruday, September 17 by a final of 8-1. The Oilers are now 0-3 on the season while the Warriors improve to 3-0.

Findlay picked up their lone win of the match at the first singles position. Senior Matina Matic dropped her first set 4-6 and trailed in the second set before battling back to win 7-6. In the third set tie break, Matic got off to an 8-3 lead before finally sealing the victory at 10-6. 

The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow, Sunday, September 18 when they host Hillsdale. That match will begin at 10 am.
