McLean Named Great Midwest Player of the Week

Junior Sheridan McLean was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Oct. 3.

McLean posed a 2-0 record in singles competition for the Oilers last week and also went 1-1 in doubles action. She began the week with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Heidelberg's Aline Rojas in No. 2 singles action and then added a 6-0, 6-4 win over Oberlin's Mayada Auden.

In doubles competition, McLean teamed with sophomore Mikaela Hindenlang to post an 8-2 victory in their match with Heidelberg.
