Tennis Wraps Up USTA/ITA Regional

The University of Findlay women's tennis team competed at the USTA/ITA Midwest Regional on Sep. 16 in Allendale, Mich.

In singles A consolation action, Laura Brito fell 6-2, 6-0 to Michigan Tech's Brown.

In B doubles, Brito and Mikaela Hindenlang fell 8-2 against Grand Valley State's Marjia Leko and Katarina Samardzija.

In singles A consolation, Samantha Sweet claimed a 6-1, 6-4 win over Cupper before being eliminated by Bellarmine's Jennifer Skonieczny 4-6, 7-5, 10-7

Hindenlang fell 2-6, 6-3, 10-7 against Missouri St. Louis' Bianca Buie in the B singles consolation.
