The University of Findlay women's tennis team went 1-1 in Oberlin, Ohio on Oct. 5 as they won 7-0 against Oberlin and lost 5-2 to Bellarmine.

In the win against Oberlin, Laiying Alvarado and Laura Brito teamed to claim an 8-5 win in #1 doubles competition while Samantha Sweet and Madison Arquette were victorious in #3 doubles action via an 8-1 victory.

Alvarado, Sweet, Eliza Kirov, Luciana Pereyra, Brito, and Arquette all won their singles matches as well.

In the loss to Bellarmine, Alvarado claimed a 6-0, 6-3 win over Jennifer Skonieczny while Pereyra won 6-3, 6-1 against Maja Kozerski.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Oct. 19 when they travel to Lima, Ohio to face Northwestern Ohio.
