Oilers Advance to Championship With 4-2 Win

The University of Findlay women's tennis team advanced to the final of the 2021 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship with a 4-2 win over Walsh University on April 23 in Owensboro, Ky. The victory gives the Oilers a 9-3 record on the season.

The Oilers won two doubles matches to capture the point and then received singles victories from junior Laiying Alvarado, freshman Emily Hadler, and junior Laura Brito, to win the match. Brito's win sealed the match.

The Oilers will play for the conference title tomorrow against Hillsdale College. The match is scheduled to begin at 11am.
